Au revoirShoshanna
Stories that feel like memories while they're still happening.
Au revoir Shoshanna is built around curiosity, people and cinema. The frame is precise. The tone can afford to be a little less so.
We take filmmaking seriously. Everything else, considerably less so.
We’re interested in what makes a moment feel true: a gesture, a light, a silence, a distance. We work with detail and atmosphere so a scene feels observed, not constructed.
People. Places. Silences. Distance. A detail that should not quite be there. The duck remains unavailable for comment.
Every film gets a permanent ARS/### code. Even the ones that misbehave.

Coming soon
Every image should feel like a frame from a film that doesn't exist yet.
Real light.
Natural light, tungsten, neon, backlight and honest shadows. Meeting-room lighting can stay in the meeting room.
Human distance.
Gestures, waiting, silences. People can be far away, off-centre, distracted. Preferably alive.
Places remember.
Stations, bars, hotels, streets at night, corridors, apartments, glass and reflections.
One thing off.
A small, unexplained detail. Never a gag. Never the entire point. Usually yellow.
Makesomething.
For films, collaborations, strange ideas and the occasional sensible email.
